ST. CLAUDE AVENUE BRIDGE - LA 46
ROADWAY CLOSURE (April 27-28)
The St. Claude Avenue Bridge will be closed to all vehicular traffic, cyclists and pedestrians from 6:00 AM Saturday, April 27, 2019 through Sunday, April 28, 2019. This closure is needed for structural repairs and most of the work will be performed with the bridge in the raised position. The roadway will be re-opened upon completion of the repair work, which is expected to occur sometime Sunday afternoon. The bridge will remain open to marine traffic during this closure.
Alternate Routes: Judge Seeber (Claiborne Ave.) Bridge - LA 39 & Florida Ave. Bridge
Pedestrians & Bicycles: RTA will continue service to bus stops at Poland Ave. and Forstall St., but bus stops on St. Claude Ave. at Sister St. and Jourdan Ave. will be closed during the bridge closure.
The Port of New Orleans owns and operates four bridges (St. Claude Avenue, Florida Avenue, Almonaster Avenue, and Seabrook) across the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal. To help expedite vehicular traffic during peak drive times, the bridges will not be drawn for maritime traffic during restricted hours on weekdays (Monday-Friday), excluding federal holidays, except in the case of an emergency. These restricted hours are known as bridge curfews.

Almonaster Avenue Bridge
The Almonaster Avenue Bridge is operating normally, but the bridge is currently closed to vehicular traffic due to conditions of the approach roadways.
Seabrook Railroad Bridge
The Seabrook Railroad Bridge is operating normally.
